meteorologia em mutação/ changing weather

O Verão acabou, acabaram os dias ensolarados a apanhar fruta nos pomares, os amores fugidios revelaram a sua natureza e eu encontrei trabalho :). Passarei a ter mais tempo em casa para fazer bijuteria e preencher esta tela do blog, que já vai criando saudades.

The Summer has ended, gone are the sunny days picking up fruits in the orchards, the fugitive loves have revealed their true nature and I found a job :). I will now have more time at home to make jewellery and fill this blog screen, that I was beginning to miss.

A minha tatuagem com tinta Henna / My Henna tattoo

Estive recentemente a trabalhar numa feira medieval e só pelo gozo, pedi para me fazerem esta tatuagem, com o  tradicional pigmento indiano: henna. Talvez devesse depilar os braços :)

I was recently working in a medieval fair so just for the fun of it, had this tattoo made, with the traditional plant pigment from India : the henna. Maybe I should take that hair out of my arms :)

Finalmente consegui soldar um anel para poder colocar o "cabochon" de resina com a rosa, estou tão orgulhosa. ;)
I finally managed to solder the ring to glue the resin rose cabochon I made, I am so proud.;)

Estava aqui por casa, enrolado de maneira tosca e feia, aqueci-o ao lume do fogão e procurei pela casa qualquer coisa tubular com o mesmo diâmetro que o meu dedo, enrolei à volta e terminei com umas voltinhas; fácil não?

It was hanging around the house twisted in an ugly fashion, I heated it on my stove's flame, looked around the house for something tubular with my finger's diameter, and twisted and twirled the wire around it; easy...no?

Depois de muitas tentativas falhadas achei que já era tempo de mostrar o resultado desta experiência, e conformar-me com as bolhas. Não colei um anel ainda porque não sei o tamanho de anel da dona.

After many attempts I decided it was about time to show the result of this experiment, and to accept the presence of the bubbles.I haven't yet glued a ring to it because I don't know the future owner's ring size.

Este é um anel que deveria ter sido entregue antes do Natal, em Novembro, na verdade era uma prenda da aniversário para a Macati, mas a obra atrasou-se :)

This a a ring that was meant to be given before Christmas, in fact it was an anniversary present for Macati, but the work got late :).

Sempre que junto azul branco e dourado lembro-me do Egipto, nunca pensei muito sobre isto mas hoje descobri porquê,  são as cores do lápis lazuli.

Whenever I mix blue, white and golden colours I remember Egipt, I have never given it much thought, but today I realized it must relate to the colours of lápis lazuli.
