Pois é, tentei esmaltar algumas peças de cobre com um esmalte "artesanal" mas a coisa correu mal, tentei usar borato de sódio puro (à esquerda) e pedaços de vidro feitos com este mesmo borato de sódio e com algum óxido negro(de ferro talvez, ou de cobre... foi um acidente). O resultado não foi o que eu esperava(um revestimento de vidro transparente), mas com tudo se aprende.

So I have tried to enamel some pieces of copper with a "homemade" enamel but it didn't go so well, I have tried to use sodium borate pure (on the left) and pieces of glass made from the same sodium borate and some black oxide (iron oxide maybe, or copper...it was an accident). The result wasn't the expected (some kind of clear glass cover), but one can learn from anything.
