Ao que parece não é assim tão fácil trabalhar e divertir-me na internet durante o mesmo dia, especialmente se há apenas acesso à internet por um pequenito (e pouco eficiente) aparelho móvel. E por isso agora que já estou em casa de novo, já posso dar largas à imaginação de novo! E aqui estão alguns brincos: gostava de chamar ao último Esmeralda, como a personagem do Corcunda de Notre Dame :)

It seems that working and playing in the web in the same day is not as easy as I thought, especially if there is only access to the web by using a very small (and inefficient) mobile apparatus. And that is why now that I am home again, I can make my imagination fly! (Maybe just leap...).
So here are a few earrings: I would like to call the last one Esmeralda, like the female character in the Notre Dame's Hunchback movie

O Verão acabou, acabaram os dias ensolarados a apanhar fruta nos pomares, os amores fugidios revelaram a sua natureza e eu encontrei trabalho :). Passarei a ter mais tempo em casa para fazer bijuteria e preencher esta tela do blog, que já vai criando saudades.

The Summer has ended, gone are the sunny days picking up fruits in the orchards, the fugitive loves have revealed their true nature and I found a job :). I will now have more time at home to make jewellery and fill this blog screen, that I was beginning to miss.

Estive recentemente a trabalhar numa feira medieval e só pelo gozo, pedi para me fazerem esta tatuagem, com o tradicional pigmento indiano: henna. Talvez devesse depilar os braços :)

I was recently working in a medieval fair so just for the fun of it, had this tattoo made, with the traditional plant pigment from India : the henna. Maybe I should take that hair out of my arms :)

Estou triste em dizer que como não é habitual, na cidade onde vivo: Caldas da Rainha, este ano não encontrei ainda o gigante Presépio tradicional.
Não vou dizer que eu seja uma pessoa muito religiosa, sou muito pouco, mas tenho pena que esse símbolo da família não esteja tão visível aqui na minha terra, e agradeço aos que se lembraram de o fazer e partilhar com os olhos alheios, acho que é essa sensação de calor familiar que mais faz falta nesta época, mesmo que o aquecimento exterior nem sempre seja o melhor.
No Natal também temos que nos lembrar dos amigos, mas também se diz que os amigos são a família que se escolhe.
Que assim continuem todos a fazer crescer ternura e carinho dentro de nós. Amén a isso.

I am sad to say that in a non usual way in the city I live in, in Portugal, this year I haven't yet discovered the whereabouts of the traditional gigantic Nativity Scene.
I am not going to say that I am a very religious person, I am not, but I am sorry to see that this symbol of family isn't so visible here in my hometown, and I thank the ones that decided to put some work into making one to share with stranger eyes, I think its this warm family feeling that is lacking most in this time of the year, even if the exterior heating is not the best we can have.
Christmas also includes remmembering and celebrating with our friends, they are the family we choose.
May they all remain making care and tenderness grow inside of us. Amen to that.

Verte o café sobre a espuma . Está feito! Pode temperar-se com açúcar, ou mel, ou chocolate em pó, se gostar :).

An italian lady told me how to make it: get some fat milk on a tea cup and with a steam maker on your coffee machine make some steam inside the milk, until you've got foam. Than pour the coffee over the top of the foam. Its done! You can add sugar or honey or chocolate powder, if you like:)

Hoje fiz uma experiência engraçada, fui fazer uma caminhada à hora de jantar.
Não era o meu objectivo mas acabei por ir cheirando pelo caminho os aromas das cozinhas dos outros:o de carne guisada foi o primeiro, outros não consegui adivinhar...E a que cheiram as cozinhas dos vossos vizinhos?

Today I made an fun experiment, I went for a walk at diner time. It wasn't my purpose but I ended up smelling all the aromas coming from other people's kitchens: a meat stew (probably veal) was the first smell, other's I could not guess...And your neighbours, what do their kitchens smell like?

It's been some time since I have been looking for these in Caldas da Rainha's stationary shops ( in my town, without finding it, and what a good surprise to find it in a supermarket, I got histerical and grabed it right away...I have plans for this!

I like the turquoise blue color mixed with silver color, it reminds me of the beach, it must be because in some beaches, like São Martinho do Porto(Portugal)the sand has silvery reflections.

Pois é, tentei esmaltar algumas peças de cobre com um esmalte "artesanal" mas a coisa correu mal, tentei usar borato de sódio puro (à esquerda) e pedaços de vidro feitos com este mesmo borato de sódio e com algum óxido negro(de ferro talvez, ou de cobre... foi um acidente). O resultado não foi o que eu esperava(um revestimento de vidro transparente), mas com tudo se aprende.

So I have tried to enamel some pieces of copper with a "homemade" enamel but it didn't go so well, I have tried to use sodium borate pure (on the left) and pieces of glass made from the same sodium borate and some black oxide (iron oxide maybe, or copper...it was an accident). The result wasn't the expected (some kind of clear glass cover), but one can learn from anything.

A Macati desafiou-me a escrever algumas coisas à mão para o blog, e eu achei engraçado embora os manuscritos não sejam o meu maior talento; eu tenho a tendência para começar a voar com as plavras enquanto a minha mão desliza da esquerda para a direita na folha de papel. O que eu deveria escrever para este desafio é:

O meu assunto de hoje não tem imagem porque eu o comi...é verdade...tenho andado a tentar lembrar-me de coisas que me põem bem disposta e qual não foi o meu espanto quando hoje a preparar o almoço, e depois a comê-lo :), me dei conta de que gosto mesmo de salmão fresco grelhado com salada de alface e puré de batata. É que fico física e psicológicamente mesmo bem disposta!

I don't have an image for today's subject because I ate it...its true...i have been trying to remember the things that put me in a good mood, and I was surprised to find one today while preparing my lunch and later eating it :). I found that I really love grilled salmon with potato puree and lettuce salad. I really feel physically and psicologically well!

E aqui está finalmente o colar do namorado; eu sei que demorei muito tempo mas também queria por a foto com o respectivo a usar o colar; acho que fica bem, não se nota muito mas como ele tem um pescoço um bocado largo acho que a cordinha com o pendente a cair fica engraçada e disfarça um pouco...ele também gosta.

Pois é, tenho um novo posto de trabalho, é num hotel. Estou cá desde ontem e já me desapareceu a minha agenda linda de morrer, sim aquela a que tirei fotografia há alguns posts atrás. O estranho é que alguns documentos que estavam lá dentro foram entregues dentro de um envelope na recepção do hotel, por uma senhora que diz que não viu agenda nenhuma, mas, quando eu fui chamada para me entregarem os documentos disseram-me que eu os devia ter deixado cair da minha agenda...não me parece, estavam lá bem seguros...mas estranho terem reparado bem nos documentos que eu tinha dentro da agenda...sei que estou a fazer um grande filme, mas odeio quando me desaparecem coisas que me são tão queridas. E a pessoa que a levou é feia feia feia!

Someone took my agenda( the one I took a picture of and put in a previous post), I am very angry about it's disaparence, I think the person who took it was very ugly, and the rest(what I wrote in portuguese) is just my conspiration theory about people that stay or work in the hotel where I am working, maybe I left the agenda alone next to the dormitory door, but if the person delivered my documents that where inside the agenda, why not the agenda itself? Mean peaople! And why the hell is my room door the only one that does not close well. I am not rich! Why does everyone steal from me?
